ROUTE FROM KASSANDRIA TO THE RELICTS OF THE EARLY-CHRISTIAN BASILICA 'SOLINA'

The Route starts in Kassandria, central of the peninsula of Kassandra to the archeological site of the early-Chirstian basilica in the area 'Solina'. The basilica was built in the early 5th century. It is assumed that the basilica, including the cemetery, belonged to an neighboring ancient settlement. The floor of the former building is still covered with well-preserved mosaics. Along this hike in June/July you will see endless fields of sunflowers.
